DESIGN AND ENGINEERING WORK TO GET UNDERWAY FOR IMPROVEMENTS IN THE HIGHWAY INTERCHANGE AREA AROUND MERIDEN
Rep. Altobello announced today the approval of $1 million to begin an improvement project to the Interchange around I-91, I-691 and Route 15 in the Meriden and Middletown area. Part of the project includes the incorporation of an additional lane in each direction to allow for smoother transition on the northbound on-ramp and elimination of the continually congested right lane on southbound I-91 at exit 15.
