On Friday, May 14th dignitaries including Govenor M. Jodi Rell held an official ribbon cutting ceremony for W. F. Kaynor Technical High School. In July 2006, the state launched a $67 million effort to build a new academic wing and completely renovate the technology areas. This work was finished in August 2009.
