CT ranks #2 in breast cancer incidents – let’s support ultrasounds for prevention!

March 2, 2018

This session, I introduced legislation addressing the screening and prevention of breast cancer and the importance of health insurance coverage for ultrasounds for persons with dense breast tissue. This year, 3,500 new cases of invasive breast cancer will be diagnosed in our state. We must do something to help with prevention. University Commons Park View Development

February 16, 2018

The State Bond Commission approved funds for site, streetscape and sewer improvements that will allow the Park View development to move forward. The first phase of the University Commons development – The Atwood – added more than 90,000 square feet of residential and commercial space in a prime location, improving the quality of life for people living and working in the area. Park View will add another 55,000 square feet of retail and residential space.
