State Legislators Applaud Passage of HB 5321 Out of Public Health Committee
April 2, 2024State Representatives Michelle L. Cook (D-Torrington) and Christie Carpino (R-Cromwell and Portland), members of the Public Health Committee, are applauding the passage of HB 5321 out of committee. It will now be considered by the full House and Senate in the coming weeks.
Early Voting Available Starting March 26
March 25, 2024For the first time, residents can take advantage of the state's new early voting law with Connecticut's April 2 presidential preference primaries.

CT DOT to Install Wrong Way Driver Countermeasure System on Rte. 8, Exit 45
March 12, 2024The Connecticut Department of Transportation plans to install a Wrong Way Driver Countermeasure System on Route 8 South in Torrington at Exit 45.
