Thank you for providing me the privilege of representing you in the General Assembly. Over the last year, I have worked with colleagues and advocates from all walks of life to protect our communities from devastating cuts, maintain vital social services, and invest in economic growth. From education funding and LGBTQ+ protections to small business & manufacturing growth, to crumbling foundation assistance, there is rarely a moment when I am not fighting for a better CT.

Fall in New England is unlike anywhere else, and I hope I’m not the only one who’s excited to watch the leaves turn from green to autumn hues while sipping anything pumpkin-flavored or devouring an entire bag of candy corn.

The U.S. Census Bureau is looking to fill positions necessary to conduct the 2020 Census and will be holding recruiting events around our state. On Monday, September 23 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., join Representatives from the U.S. Census Bureau at the East Hartford Public Library, 740 Main St, to learn how you can play an integral role in the 2020 Census.

This was our first full week since the 2019 session ended, and while we accomplished a lot, there are still a few things to be done during the upcoming Special Session, so be on the lookout for an announcement of those dates.
