It's been another busy week in Hartford and I'm pleased to say that I have great news to share!

I would like to inform you of the community forum to discuss the Working Cities Challenge, a grant competition that is designed to spark collaboration between government, business, and non-profit organizations to improv

The most important job as your State Representative is to advocate on your behalf and support issues important to East Hartford, Manchester and South Windsor. Often times the best ideas to shape state government and which particular issue to support comes from hearing directly from our constituents. 

This past Wednesday marked the first day of opening session! I am honored that you have entrusted me, again, to represent the 11th District  comprised of East Hartford, South Windsor and Manchester.

If you're looking for a place to celebrate New Years Eve, look no further! Hartford is hosting it's 28th annual First Night New Year's Eve celebration this Saturday, December 31 from 2 p.m. to midnight.

This morning's snowfall was a gentle reminder that winter is just around the corner. Weather forecasts have predicted freezing temperatures and wind chills below zero for the next couple of days, and in response, the governor is activating the state’s Severe Cold Weather Protocol, which will begin tonight and remain in effect through Saturday morning. 

If you, or someone you know, does not have health insurance, pass the word: The enrollment period in the state health insurance exchange, Access Health CT, is open and ends on Jan. 31. If you want coverage to start on Jan. 1, you must complete your renewal or new application by Dec. 15.

This morning's weather was a gentle reminder of New England weather and the need to ensure we're all kept warm over the next couple of months.
