Currey-ently: Education Bill and Weekly Updates

As I write and edit this edition of “Currey-ently…,” it is almost 5PM and we are halfway through the joint public hearing for one of House leadership’s priority bills, HB5003. This proposed bill that directly impacts and benefits our schools and our communities as well as an overwhelming majority of districts across the state. It comes with bipartisan support and will require an investment in our students, educators, and all those working towards a brighter future for our state. I’ve included some highlights below, but want to stress how important it is that we are all taking the opportunity to educate ourselves on what it means to take action, and possibly even more important, what it means if we don’t. The time is now.

Manchester Delegation Legislative Forum - Feb. 2
