REP. DARGAN RECEIVES PERFECT RATING FROM ENVIRONMENTAL GROUP
Connecticut League of Conservation Voters Gives Wright 100% on Annual Scorecard

The Connecticut League of Conservation Voters (CTLCV) awarded State Representative Stephen Dargan a 100 percent rating for his support and advocacy of environmental initiatives in their recently released 2012 Environmental Scorecard.

“I thank the Connecticut League of Conservation Voters for this recognition and for the the work they do as a watchdog group at the Capitol,” Rep. Dargan said. “Even though we continue to be challenged by a difficult economy, it’s important that we support legislation that protects our environment. Protecting our environment is a common sense investment for present and future generations.”

The annual environmental scorecard grades state lawmakers based on how they vote on significant environmental legislation. This year the scorecard grades legislators' votes on bills selected by CTLVC that came up during the 2012 legislative session.

Formed in 1998, the bipartisan CTLCV works on laws that affect Connecticut's air, water, wildlife, open space, transportation, energy choices, and health.
