FOR WEST HAVEN ROAD PAVING AND REPAIRS
West Haven To Get $312,765.61 In Town Aid Road Funding
State Representative Stephen Dargan welcomed approval today by the State Bond Commission of $15 million in state aid that will fund paving projects and road repairs for West Haven.
West Haven’s share of Town Aid Road (TAR) grants is $312,765.61.
“It’s very important that we continue to maintain our local infrastructure and these funds are important for West Haven for road repair and paving projects,” Rep. Dargan said. “I am pleased the funding has been approved by the State Bond Commission. This funding provides relief for local property taxpayers and for our local officials who are responsible for local paving and road repair projects.”
The towns receive half payments in July and January.
Rep. Dargan is House Chair of the Public Safety and Security Committee and serves on the Insurance and Executive Nominations Committees.
