Group To Discuss Recommendations

A working group of small business leaders and legislators convened by House Speaker Christopher G. Donovan (D-Meriden) will meet to discuss possible proposals for helping small businesses provide healthcare coverage at 3 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30 in Room 1D of the Legislative Office Building.

The working group, chaired by Rep. Robert Megna (D-New Haven), House chair of the Insurance Committee, has been studying the obstacles that small business owners face in seeking to purchase health insurance coverage for employees and their families and considering ways to help business overcome the obstacles.
