STAMFORD DELEGATION ANNOUNCES MAJOR GRANT
FOR AFFORDABLE HOUSING

Stamford’s legislative delegation joined Governor Dannel P. Malloy in announcing a significant state grant to Shelter for the Homeless to help develop nearly 50 units of affordable and homeless rental housing in Stamford. The funding is expected to be approved during a special meeting of the State Bond Commission, March 17, along with a grant to the City of Stamford to assist with installation of lighting in Michael F. Lione Memorial Park. The $2,503,480 grant to Shelter for the Homeless, Inc. will assist with the development of 46 units of affordable and homeless rental housing in Stamford. READ MORE
