The Connecticut Farm Bureau acknowledged Representative Gentile’s work on the animal care bill in her role as Chair of the Environment Committee. Representative Gentile attended a news conference with a broad coalition of students and advocacy groups in support HB 6915, An Act Concerning A Student Loan Bill of Rights. If passed, Connecticut would be the first state in the country to adopt such a measure, establishing a student loan ombudsman to regulate student loan servicers and assist student borrowers and parents.
