REP. GUERRERA ANNOUNCES STATE FUNDING
FOR VETERANS HOME
State Representative Antonio “Tony” Guerrera (D-Newington, Rocky Hill, Wethersfield) today announced that $735,000 in state funding for the Connecticut Veterans’ Home in Rocky Hill is expected to be approved by the State Bond Commission. The grant will finance the design work for renovations to the Commissary as well as West and East Domicile buildings. READ MORE

THROUGH TOLLS
State Representative Tony Guerrera (D-Rocky Hill, Wethersfield, Newington), House Chair of the Transportation Committee, is pushing legislation to allow the state to install tolls on I-95, I-91 and I-84 as part of the state’s economic stimulus package. Rep. Guerrera would like to see tolls erected along the borders with New York, Massachusetts and Rhode Island to target out-of-state drivers using Connecticut roads. READ MORE
