You may have noticed I didn’t send out an e-news last week. We were all a little tired after the election and there wasn’t quite as much local information to provide as there normally is. But, we are back at it this week!

We are two weeks away from Election Day. Be sure to check out the information on Early Voting. As a reminder, Early Voting passed on a previous ballot, and we now join 47 other states in being able to vote early.

After a majority of Connecticut voters approved a ballot measure a few years ago, we will finally join 47 other states and will be able to commence early voting this Monday, October 21st.

I’m sure you are all aware of the terrible accident of one of our Avon High School students this past week. It is a stark reminder to all of us that we need to share the road with bicyclists, and we can all use to slow down and pay more attention on the road.
