SAVING TAXPAYERS MONEY  THROUGH INCREASED RECYCLING
When my husband and I relocated to Brooklyn, CT, from Milford in 1985, garbage was the first issue I became involved in.  Stratford had just purchased a landfill in Brooklyn, and sixty trucks were driving almost one hundred miles every day to dispose of their solid waste.  Now, in this legislative session, Bridgeport’s CRRA wants to do the same to Franklin, CT, and mar their quiet landscape with increased traffic and create an unsafe atmosphere on their narrow, winding roads.
