CT's Affordable Health Care Program Expands, Adds Benefits

Recognizing Disability Pride Month
July 8, 2022Did you know 390,600 of the 3,546,3000 individuals across all ages in Connecticut reported at least one disability. That's 11.0% of the population! This Disability Pride Month, let's be sure that people with disabilities are proudly visible in our communities. For many, Disability Pride Month is about recognizing your disability as an integral part of who you are and remembering that a disability makes you different, not worse.
Connecticut’s Free Community College Program Deadline Approaching

The deadline to apply for financial aid through Connecticut's free community college program is fast approaching. Students looking to take advantage of the Pledge to Advance Connecticut (PACT) program are encouraged to apply by Friday, July 15.

Gas Tax Holiday Continues Through November
July 2, 2022In order to provide some financial relief to Connecticut consumers, legislation we passed this year has been extended! Special Act 22-2 and Public Act 22-118 will now provide a gas tax suspension and free bus fare through November.

Free Museum Admission for Kids this Summer
June 29, 2022The Connecticut Summer at the Museum program is returning for the 2022 summer season. Starting Friday, July 1, all children and one accompanying adult will receive free admission to over 90 museums across Connecticut.
