Norwalk Courthouse – June 15
The Governor wants to close six courthouses across the state, hurting local downtowns where they typically are located; forcing people doing business at the courthouses to travel great distances; adding caseloads to other courts already bursting with business; and likely leading to more plea bargains as fewer courts try to manage growing volume. Democratic legislators visited Norwalk to demonstrate these issues.
