May 13, 2009 REP. O’CONNOR ANNOUNCES STIMULUS MONEY CURRENTLY AVAILABLE TO SHORELINE AREA Funds Support Energy Efficiency Programs
State Representative Brian O’Connor (D-Clinton, Killingworth & Westbrook) announced that federal stimulus money is available directly to municipalities for energy efficiency programs. Clinton, Killingworth and Westbrook are slated to receive over $152,000 from the federal stimulus package for energy efficiency projects. In order to secure the funding the towns need only provide the State Office of Policy and Management (OPM) with a plan outlining the proposed usage for the funds. READ MORE
