I am proud to share that I secured $50,000 in state funding to restore and update the Southington Veterans Memorial on our town green.

As we celebrate the Fourth of July and commemorate the 250th anniversary of American independence, let us reflect on the enduring ideals of freedom, democracy, and the promise of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

The community celebrated the approval of a $300,000 federal grant to advance flood prevention efforts along the Quinnipiac River in Plantsville.

I met Calvin Vance and his family to present him with an official State of Connecticut citation in recognition of attaining the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest honor in Scouting.

It was a pleasure to attend the dedication of the new “Kind Acts Touch Everyone” bench at Strong Elementary School.

I am pleased to announce that, working alongside Southington Town staff, we successfully secured a $275,625 federal grant to advance flood mitigation efforts in downtown Plantsville.

Congratulations to my friend Dawn Miceli on being honored with the 2025 Southington UNICO Gold Medal Award for her decades of service, leadership, and commitment to our community.

I recently visited Southington High School and made surprise classroom visits, where I presented the Valedictorian, Salutatorian, and Essayist with official state citations recognizing their academic achievement.
