These are just three of the goals we set out to achieve this session and our work is far from over.

As we continue to confront challenges, our phones ring off the hook with calls from anxious constituents.

I am grateful to so many of you who have shared your expertise, your personal stories and your concerns about both taxes and the fear of losing support services that care for children, seniors and veterans and help keep homes heated during the cold winter months ahead.

Your input is invaluable as we continue to work toward finding that successful balance between cutting and spending that stimulates business, protects the vulnerable and positions Connecticut for a sustainable and robust future.

Again, there is much to be done; but we are proud of several accomplishments this session and I hope you will find these highlights informative.
