2023 Constituent Survey

As your legislator, it is my privilege to be your voice in Hartford, and I would like to hear from you! This legislative session I plan on continuing my work to make meaningful investments in education and community development within our district. I also plan to address early voting and the rising cost of housing in the state.

This is my annual survey on what we in the legislature will be working on in Hartford. I hope you will take a few minutes to complete this survey.

As the legislature works to address many issues this legislative session, I’d like for you to help me prioritize them by telling me what is most important to you.

I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

Help Make Me a Better Legislator

I’d like to hear from you about what I can do to be more accessible to you. Aside from voting at the Capitol, one of my main jobs is to make sure that I am always available for the residents of East Hartford and Manchester. Whether it’s helping with an issue you may have with a state agency, listening to your policy ideas, or attending community events, I’m here for our communities.

What should I be doing more of? Please rank your top priorities 1 to 7, with 1 being the highest.

THERE OUGHT TO BE A LAW…

Every so often, you might find yourself thinking, “There ought to be a law for that.” Now is your chance to suggest a bill that the legislature should consider. What are your ideas for what we should be working on at the Capitol?

Lowering the Cost of Living

I believe our cost of living is rising too fast, and the middle-class needs more help. I’ve tackled this by delivering millions of additional dollars in state aid to our district to stabilize property taxes, enhancing utility companies’ regulations to lower costs, and reducing income taxes for thousands of residents. There is still a lot more work to be done.

Where should I focus further efforts to reduce your cost of living? Please rank your top priorities 1 to 8, with 1 being the highest.
