Rep. Rose Tours Beth-El Center

I was pleased to tour the Beth-El Center facility and meet with Toni Dolan, Executive Director of the Beth-El Center to learn more about the services they provide to residents in Milford and to explore ways the state can support the center’s goals. Beth-El Center is a homeless shelter and food service program servicing families in Milford, including  those who reside in the supportive housing development located at 85 New Haven Avenue also known as Liberty Pointe.

Pedestrian Safety Headlines!

Pedestrian Safety continues to be a top priority for me. A UConn study shows that there were more than 1,400 accidents in the state involving pedestrians, 50 of those fatal. I am pleased the DOT heard my pleas for more safety measures in the Bridgeport Avenue stretch and changes have been happening.
