REGIONAL ECONOMIC DISTRICT LEADS TO GRANT FOR
NEW BUSINESS HUB IN HAMDEN
My hometown of Hamden was recently awarded a major federal economic development grant for the transformation of the former Newhall Community Center into a new business incubator hub.

Last year's gun safety legislation, adopted in the wake of the Newtown tragedy, included the creation of a task force charged with recommending how to improve access to mental health services and better identify people with behavioral health problems, particularly young adults. READ MORE
