Mission

Representative James Albis (D-East Haven) announces the release of The Shoreline Preservation Task Force Report. This report is the result of almost a year of studying the effects of sea level rise, coastal flooding, and extreme weather events on Connecticut's shoreline communities, and provides suggestions for dealing with coastal resiliency as well as prevention measures necessary to reduce the impact of future storms. This report takes into consideration task force members suggestions and public testimony when suggesting recommendations to the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP).
