Funds Support Energy Efficiency Programs
State Representatives Deborah Heinrich (D-Madison & Guilford) and Patricia Widlitz (D-Guilford) announced that federal stimulus money is available directly to municipalities for energy efficiency programs.  Madison and Guilford are slated to receive over $169,000 from the stimulus package for energy efficiency projects.  In order to secure the funding the town need only provide the State Office of Policy and Management (OPM) with a plan outlining the proposed usage for the funds.
