Rep. Zeke Zalaski presented a citation to Southington Tool & Mfg. Corp for its 40th anniversary on July 7th.

Don Florian holds the replica of the road sign designating Southington's stretch of Route 10 as the Louis G. Tolles Memorial Highway in memory of his grandfather. The replica was presented to family members during a rededication ceremony on Queen Street on October 6, 2007. From left are town councilor David Zoni, state representative Bruce Zalaski, Florian, state Grange president Robert Sendewicz, Nancy Florian and Town Council chairman John Barry. Florian is also holding a car insignia with the slogan, "Get Connecticut Out of the Mud," from the era in which his grandfather led the fight for state maintenance of neglected roads.
