Food Pantries Need Donations For Children

August 23, 2019

In these final days of summer, many children are still hungry and could use your help.

Food pantries around the Connecticut are looking for donations of canned tuna, canned fruits and vegetables, canned soup, peanut butter, boxed pasta, pasta sauce in jars or cans, baked beans, boxed rice and/ or potatoes.

Please consider donating to help feed our youth.

The Connecticut Food Bank can help you locate a donation center near you. Please click on this link CTFoodPantryMap to find a listing of nearly 700 community food assistance programs. You may consider donating to the Meriden Soup Kitchen at 460 Broad Street, or the Berlin Food Pantry located in town hall, 240 Kensington Road.
