Thanks To Chip's For Autism Awareness

April 4, 2017

April is Autism Month and Chip's Family Restaurant in Wethersfield" is donating money from today's sales to the Spectrum of Kindness, a program by the Hospital for Special Care in New Britain in support of its Autism Center."

Autism Awareness Month provides an opportunity for families, friends and local communities to raise public awareness about autism.

The Autism Center at Hospital for Special Care is the first of its kind in Connecticut and only one of 10 in the country. The center is the nation’s first and only Patient Centered Specialty Practice for autism recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance for its responsiveness to patients and medical colleagues, cooperation and integration with other health-care groups and dedication to continuous improvement.
