REP. ALBIS RECEIVES PERFECT RATING FROM ENVIRONMENTAL GROUP
Connecticut League of Conservation Voters Gives Wright 100% on Annual Scorecard

The Connecticut League of Conservation Voters (CTLCV) awarded State Representative James Albis a 100 percent rating for his support and advocacy of environmental initiatives in their recently released 2012 Environmental Scorecard.

“I want to thank the Connecticut League of Conservation Voters for this recognition and for the work they do as a watchdog and advocate for the environment” Rep. Albis said. “It’s important that while we continue to be challenged by economic concerns we must still be prepared to support legislation that protects our environment not only for today, but for future generations.”

The annual environmental scorecard grades state lawmakers based on how they vote on significant environmental legislation. This year the scorecard grades legislators' votes on bills selected by CTLVC that came up during the 2012 legislative session.

Formed in 1998, the bipartisan CTLCV works on laws that affect Connecticut's air, water, wildlife, open space, transportation, energy choices, and health.
