On Friday, I reached out to the Connecticut Department of Transportation about a dip in the road on Route 53 (Grassy Plain Street), right at the entrance to the plaza that’s home to Dunkin’, Spice, and House of Yoshida.

By today, it was fixed. That’s the kind of quick action we love to see.

Mobile home bill update: where we landed, and what’s next

Earlier this year, I introduced a bill with Senator Julie Kushner (HB 5111) after hearing directly from families at Shady Acres Mobile Home Park in Danbury. They told me about rising lot rents, surprise fees, and a lack of transparency from park owners.
