Stamford Access Health CT Enrollment Fair
This Wednesday, June 29, Access Health CT will be holding an enrollment fair in Stamford for parents who are losing Medicaid HUSKY A coverage. You can sign up for a healthcare plan with Access Health CT staff to avoid a gap in your coverage.
What: Access Health CT Husky A Transition Enrollment Fair
When: Wednesday, June 29 from 1 to 5 p.m.
Where: Optimus Health Center, 805 Atlantic Street, Stamford
If you received a letter from Access Health CT and the Connecticut Department of Social Services (DSS) in July 2015 letting you know that your eligibility for your current HUSKY Health coverage has changed, you may no longer be eligible for your HUSKY health coverage as of July 31, 2016. However, you may be eligible for other HUSKY programs or for affordable, quality private health insurance coverage through Access Health CT.
If you are losing or have already lost your HUSKY A coverage, you are eligible for a Health Insurance Special Enrollment period. This period, which starts 60 days before you lose your coverage and ends 60 days after you lost your coverage, will give you an opportunity to enroll in other health care coverage through Access Health CT. However, you should enroll as early as possible to avoid a gap in your coverage.
Access Health CT staff can help enroll you in a new plan at their upcoming enrollment fair. You can also find more information here.
