Sikorsky and State Reach Long-Term Deal

September 22, 2016

State Representatives David Arconti (D-Danbury) and Bob Godfrey (D-Danbury) are very pleased that Sikorsky Aircraft, which has made its home in Stratford since 1929, will remain here until at least 2032.

Rep. David Arconti said, “As this agreement requires legislative approval, I will be supporting the legislature’s quick action to secure a prominent employer as Sikorsky. This deal will benefit Connecticut’s economy as well as our local Danbury suppliers who do business with Sikorsky.”
