General Law Committee Acts on Important Bills

Veteran watchers of the General Assembly know the action early in the legislative session is in the committees. As House Chairman of the General Law Committee, I am pleased to provide a look into some of the important bills we have reported out of the committee for future debate and consideration by the full General Assembly.

First, some background on the committee: General Law focuses on all matters relating to the Department of Consumer Protection, fair trade and sales practices, consumer protection, mobile homes and occupational licensing, and all matters relating to alcoholic beverages.
