Don't wait to provide feedback for Care 4 Kids

November 19, 2018

The Office of Early Childhood would like to improve the Care 4 Kids program, which helps low and moderate income households in Connecticut afford childcare.

The program is seeking feedback from those who are interested in, have applied for, or have participated in it.

To qualify for the program, families must meet the program's income requirements, available here.

In addition to the income requirements, parents, children and providers must meet the following eligibility requirements to participate in the program:

  • Families must reside in Connecticut; be working or attending a temporary family cash assistance (Jobs First) approved education or training activity; meet income requirements
  • Children must live in Connecticut and be under the age of 13, or under the age of 19 if the child has special needs
  • Providers must be licensed by the CT Office of Early Childhood, unless exempt from licensing; or be a close relative; or take care of the child in the child's home

Applications for the program are available here, and should be returned to Care 4 Kids, 1344 Silas Deane Highway, Rocky Hill, CT, 06067, or faxed to 1-877-868-0871.
