2023 Constituent Survey

The 2023 legislative session is getting started, and I want to hear from you! As the State Representative for the 20th District, I now serve both southern West Hartford and western Newington. Our state faces many challenges including our economy, inflation, and access to quality education and health care. I would like to hear what matters most to you so I can better represent you and our community at the State Capitol.

Every so often, you might find yourself thinking, “There ought to be a law for that.” Now is your chance to suggest a bill that the legislature should consider. What are your ideas for what we should be working on at the Capitol?

I believe our cost of living is rising too fast, and the middle-class needs more help. I’ve tackled this by reducing income taxes for thousands of families and seniors, delivering millions of additional dollars in state aid to our towns to stabilize property taxes, and strengthening utility company regulations. There is still a lot more work to be done. Where should I focus further efforts to reduce your cost of living?
