Avelo Airlines to Offer New Flights at BDL
August 13, 2024Avelo Airlines recently announced an expansion to Bradley International Airport with seven new direct flights, including nonstop service to Montego Bay, Jamaica and Cancun, Mexico. Both flights will begin in November.

CTDOT Launches Statewide Enforcement to Combat Speeding
August 2, 2024This summer, the Connecticut Department of Transportation is collaborating with state and local law enforcement and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to launch a high-visibility anti-speeding enforcement campaign. The campaign aims to increase awareness and promote safer driving behaviors with increased speed limit enforcement. The campaign will run through September 5.

Aging Bills Signed into Law
June 7, 2024On Tuesday, two aging bills - HB 5001 and HB 5046 - were ceremoniously signed into law. An event to commemorate the bill signing was held at the Seabury Retirement Community in Bloomfield. I was proud to stand with Speaker Ritter and my colleagues from both sides of the isle who helped push these bills past the finish line.
