NAACP Membership And Freedom Fund Dinner A Hit

October 1, 2019

We had a wonderful time at the Greater Hartford Branch of the NAACP's 102nd Annual Membership & Freedom Fund Dinner Saturday night at the Marriott in Windsor.

We should never forget the groups mission which is to ensure the political, educational, social and economic equality of rights of all persons and to eliminate race-based discrimination.

It's good to get together to celebrate our cause and accomplishments toward these goals on a local as well as national level.

On that note, a special thanks to Maxien Robinson-Lewin, President of the Greater Hartford Branch who brought the deep message of forging ahead with a continued commitment of fighting for civil rights and social justice.

Scot X. Esdaile, President of the Connecticut NAACP State Conference and national board member, is always an inspiration. He asked that we continue to stand with the NAACP in its fight against police brutality, racial profiling, poor housing, joblessness, poverty and criminal justice reform.

Sharing time with friends during an occasion like the Greater Hartford NAACP's 102nd Annual Membership & Freedom Fund Dinner is a win-win for all who attend.

A special thanks to all who made the night such a success.
