My colleague, Representative Jonathan Steinberg and I are urging other Connecticut lawmakers to prioritize addressing climate change as their New Year's resolution for 2024. The state has fallen behind in its climate goals and has not met federal air quality standards. Recommendations to tackle these challenges include that the climate law be updated, net-zero emissions targets be set, renewable energy deployment be accelerated and more.
