Combating Invasive Species

June 1, 2019

Combating invasive species is a big issue for Candlewood Lake – and I am proud to have worked with my colleagues and the Environment Committee this session to get a bill passed that would help New Fairfield and adjacent towns with controlling such species as zebra mussel and others.

Here are my floor remarks.

Candlewood Lake is one of the most beautiful lakes in the state, and we must do everything possible to ensure it remains enjoyable and free of invasive species for future generations. I am grateful to my colleagues for supporting this measure!
