Road Work Alert: Expect Delays Across Waterbury

Drivers in Waterbury should expect delays and possible detours over the next two weeks for ramp installations throughout the city.

The city's Engineering Department announced construction will take place between approximately 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. at the following locations:

Friday, July 17

  • Bunker Hill Avenue at Whitewood Road
  • Whitewood Road at Angel Drive

Monday, July 20

  • Whitewood Road at Angel Drive
  • Morningside Avenue at Windsor Street

Tuesday, July 21

  • Hans Avenue at Bradley Avenue

Wednesday, July 22

  • Anna Avenue at Bradley Avenue

Thursday, July 23

  • Municipal Road at Leonard Street

Friday, July 24

  • Dracut Avenue at Moran Street
