MIDDLETOWN MENTOR PROGRAM CELEBRATES 20TH ANNIVERSARY
Middletown Mentor Program Celebrates 20th Anniversary Rep. Lesser honors Hal Kaplan and Jennifer DeKine on the Middletown Mentor Program's 20th anniversary. The Middletown Mentor Program is a partnership between the Middletown Board of Education and the Middlesex Chamber of Commerce. The 20th anniversary celebration took place at the annual picnic for mentors and their mentees, who attend Middletown elementary schools.

HOUSE VOTES TO ALLOW "NO-EXCUSE" ABSENTEE BALLOTING AND EARLY VOTING
Rep. Lesser announced a resolution proposing a state Constitutional Amendment to take the first steps to allow “no-excuse” absentee ballots and early voting was approved today by the state House of Representatives. The legislation passed 97-50. READ MORE
