After just turning 29 years old, Matt Lesser was told he had cancer. He talks about his fight and recovery from the disease while addressing the American Cancer Society at the State Capitol.

One of the good things about Connecticut is that a lot has been done to combat the disease, Representative Matt Lesser says. Check-ups and early detection are essential in beating cancer, and the Affordable Care Act has helped in this effort.
