DOT to Resurface Major Roads in Wethersfield
The Department of Transportation will be working on two major thoroughfares in Wethersfield -- one of them begins tonight!
Crews will be milling and resurfacing a 0.6-mile section of the Route 3 southbound ramp to I-91 south between the hours of 8 p.m. tonight and 5 a.m. tomorrow. Motorists should follow the direction of traffic control personnel and signing patterns during this process. Be aware that weather or other unexpected conditions could alter the time frame to complete this work.
On Sunday, June 3, DOT crews will begin nighttime milling and resurfacing on a nearly 4-mile section of Route 99 in Wethersfield and Rocky Hill. The work will be performed between the hours of 7 p.m. and 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Watch for lane closures on Route 99 between the Wethersfield town line and Route 160 in Rocky Hill. Again, there will be traffic control personnel and signing patterns to guide drivers through the work zone.
For your safety and that of the work crews, please maintain a safe speed at all times.
