Southington State Representatives Joe Aresimowicz and Dave Zoni with Southington High School students Jeramy Olan, Jon Tumolo, Katherine Baldwin, Maghen Zagryn, Kelly Toomey, Tim White, and Brianah Mclean at the State Capitol.

House Majority Leader Joe Aresimowicz (D–Southington/Berlin) and Representative David Zoni (D–Southington) hosted Southington High School students at the State Capitol in Hartford. The students, members of the CT FFA Association of America - Southington Chapter, were in Hartford as part of the state's annual "Ag Day" at the Capitol.

The students, Jeramy Olan, Jon Tumolo, Katherine Baldwin, Maghen Zagryn, Kelly Toomey, Tim White, and Brianah Mclean, were treated to a private tour of the House Chamber by Rep. Aresimowicz and Rep. Zoni.

Ag Day is an opportunity for farmers, farming organizations, and farm-related businesses to highlight the diversity of Connecticut agriculture.

FFA (formerly Future Farmers of America) works to make a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
