Seniors 75 and Older: Don't Forget to Schedule Your COVID-19 Vaccine Appointment

February 4, 2021

Seniors 75 years and older can schedule an appointment to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Over the next few weeks, my office and I will be calling folks throughout our district who are eligible to receive the vaccine to check-in and ask if they need assistance making their appointment.

In the coming weeks, the next tier of Phase 1B, which includes residents between 65 and 74 years old, will be able to schedule an appointment for the vaccine. More information about this tier will be released later this month and my office will continue to keep you updated.

VaccineAppointmentScheduling

As a reminder, if you are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, you can schedule an appointment online by visiting ct.gov/covidvaccine or by calling the CT COVID Vaccine Appointment Assistance Line at 877-918-2224 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Please note that there have been reports of cancellations due to vaccine shortages in some locations. I share your frustrations on the difficulty in getting a vaccine and know that I am working with the Governor’s office to ensure that our state continues to increase its supply of vaccines and address issues with the vaccine appointment scheduling system.

Please stay safe and stay well.
