Connecticut Storytelling Festival & Conference

The 40th Annual Connecticut Storytelling Festival & Conference brings together people of different cultures, ages and backgrounds, and allows them to discover and react to stories together, share emotions and bridge differences.

In addition to masterful storytelling, the event, funded by CT Humanities, offers workshops to help people learn how to tell stories; their own and those of tradition, and how to use stories as tools for educators, parents and others.

April is National Poetry Month

Established by the Academy of American Poets in 1996, National Poetry Month is the largest literary celebration in the world, with tens of millions of readers, students, K-12 teachers, librarians, booksellers, literary events curators, publishers, bloggers, and, of course, poets, marking poetry’s important place in our culture and our lives every April.
