House Passes Bill Addressing Food Insecurity on College Campuses and more

April 21, 2022

With another busy day in the books - one full of highs and lows - the House took action on a number of proposed bills that will now be up for consideration in the Senate. We voted on legislation to protect access to mental health care for our state's uniformed officers, take steps to advance CT's renewable energy future, stabilize the cost of nursing labor at nursing homes, and more. For a closer look at some of the bills we passed, please click the image below.

If you have questions about any of the bills we passed, please feel free to reach out to me at Jeff.Currey@cga.ct.gov or give me a call at 860-240-8585. To read more about the bills we've passed in the people's House, please visit my web site here.

In addition to passing bills, the House recognized the East Hartford High School Girls Basketball team, the EHHS Wrestling team, and the East Catholic High School Boys Basketball team! These three teams won state championships. The Lady Hornets took home their first championship in the program's history. Congratulations to all three teams on this incredible feat!
