This Saturday is Connecticut Open House Day!

Residents and families across the state can enjoy more than 200 museums, arts and cultural venues, historical sites, farms and restaurants, with free or discounted admission or special offers.

Connecticut Open House Day, now in its 18th year, celebrates the state’s diverse array of history, art, culture, nature and adventure experiences. For a breakdown of every deal in our region and across the state, please click here.

The East Hartford community is invited to the grand opening of the new Cricket Field at 55 Mercer Avenue on Sunday, June 12 at 12:30 p.m. The founder of the new cricket field in town is a longtime resident of East Hartford Parvez Bandi. While there are many Cricket Fields across our state, this is the first one in East Hartford.
 
It's the last weekend of Celebrate Manchester! Fun events are scheduled for tomorrow and Sunday, to celebrate everything our town has to offer. Saturday will feature live music outside of WORK_Space, a Rainbow Pop-Up Shop and a Drag Jamboree. There will also be a Mini-Golf Tournament Fundraiser and more. Sunday features an Open House at the Cheney Homestead.

join the South Windsor Human Relations Commission for its Race Amity Day Celebration on Sunday, June 12 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Veteran's Memorial Park Pavilion. The event is in partnership with the CT Council for Interreligious Understanding, Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream and the CT Coalition for Race Amity. The event will feature performances of classical African and Indian dance, speakers, and Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream. You can learn more about this great event here.
