Funding Approved for Major Project in Bridgeport
This is the final phase of the overall project that began with the construction of the Newfield Library that was completed and opened last year. The new development will include a multi-use property that provides for essential neighborhood services that are currently sorely lacking. From a grocery store, pharmacy, bank and residential, this project will provide resources within an accessible distance for area residents that face transportation difficulties.
I look forward to seeing this investment in the future of our city. I also thank Governor Lamont and the CIF Board for their work to approve this much-needed funding.
