I also want to offer a special congratulations to Elaine Dove, the Hamden DTC Vice-Chair, who is being honored on Sunday at the Ella T. Grasso Women’s Leadership brunch for her continued dedication and commitment to the community.

In Elaine’s professional career, she is a special education teacher and a clinical social worker. She worked for DCF, Aetna, and multiple school districts as a social worker and a teacher of the visually impaired. She has also worked nationally and internationally at military bases providing counseling to military personnel and their families. She currently provides social work services in critical incidents.

Thank you for your 30 years of service to the community, and again, congratulations.
